Supa Bwe has been providing the world with Chicago based anthems without an official album release for years. As of last night, that all changes when the dead boi dropped his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Finally Dead’. Supa has been teasing this release since he dropped his hit single ‘I Hate Being Alive’ back in March. This album has stirred up much talk, but one thing for sure is that Supa did not disappoint.
‘Finally Dead’ opens up with possibly one of the best album intros I’ve ever seen, ‘Thot Goddess’. Marinated with Egyptian-like characteristics, Supa sings his heart out on this incredibly cinematic and tempo building track. ‘Thot Goddess’ goes right into ‘Black Goku’, an upbeat track that addresses Supa’s haters after his glo up. Definitely an album standout. Some other standouts include ‘Up Right Now’, ‘Wok Wok’, ‘Down Comes the Spaceman’, and the obvious ‘I Hate Being Alive’.
Supa Bwe gives his fans a little extra as he generously adds four bonus tracks to the album! ‘Finally Dead’ also features artists such as Saba, UG Vavy, Xavier Omär, and JuJu. This album has many creative influences and Supa proves that he can do everything when it comes to his musical talents. He capitalizes on his singing abilities like never before, providing us with attractive melodies that will be stuck in our heads for days.
There’s nothing to hold against this album, other than I wish it came sooner. Supa has done it again ladies and gentlemen. ‘Finally Dead’ is finally here! Stream it below!
